Your role as Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer, you will work to design and build intelligent data pipelines that power advanced analytics and AI applications. You’ll work at the intersection of data engineering and machine learning, helping process and enrich both structured and unstructured data at scale using modern tools for large-scale processing, semantic search, and LLM-based applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Build robust data pipelines that collect, clean, transform, and aggregate data from different data sources;
- Apply agile software development processes to iteratively improve our ETL systems;
- Implement hybrid document search using Elasticsearch and vector-capable tools;
- Prepare structured and unstructured data for semantic search and embedding for downstream use in LLM-powered applications such as semantic search, Q&A, or summarization;
- Integrate with Azure services for AI and ML;
- Maintain data quality, consistency, and performance across distributed systems and ML pipelines;
- Support deployment via CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native tools.

Who are you?
You have over two years of experience as a Data Engineer and are ready to take the next step in your career. With a collaborative mindset, curiosity, and initiative, you’re driven to keep learning and improving. You pay strong attention to detail, communicate clearly in English, and enjoy working in an ambitious, forward-thinking team.
Technical skills:
- Proficient in Python, preferably with experience in LangChain or LLM-based development;
- Familiarity or exposure in building or working with RAG systems (semantic search + LLM);
- Proficient with Elasticsearch for both traditional and vector-based search use cases;
- Familiar with technologies like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Apache Spark.Exposure to data warehouses (e.g., Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift);
- Comfortable with Azure OpenAI, embeddings, and unstructured data workflows.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with vector databases such as Qdrant, Weaviate, or Pinecone;
- Familiarity with the .NET ecosystem;
- Knowledge of LangGraph or LLM agent orchestration;
- Experience deploying services using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure FunctionsSolid grasp of ML concepts like embeddings, similarity search, and classification/regression models;
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Terraform for infrastructure automation.
